Well, it depends on what kind of names you like. Are you more of someone who likes names like purdence, or are you a fan or bronx mowgli. I think that you just have to consider how your childs name will be looked at. and also if you do name her gertrude, i think you should give her a more modern middle name.
Reply:My neighbor was named Gertrude. Everyone called her Gert. I thought you had 3 names picked out. I love names that people used in the past. My granmom was Bertha. I used to call her Bert instead of Gran. Even my dad called her Bert instead of mom.
