and when their mothers are finished being pregnat.
Why do people get names when they are just babies?
what the frik are you talking about?
Reply:Well what else are you going to call the child? Names give personal identification.
Reply:Cuz "Hey You" just doesn't sound all warm and fuzzy and baby-like.
Reply:ummm, when else are you supposed to name your baby ?
Reply:My son had his name picked out half way through my pregnancy, as soon as we knew we were having a boy!!!
And I guess you name a baby because they are a little person and need to be identified.
Reply:here , where I live they ask for a name for the babies birth certificate. Kind of forces you to name them before you take them home. That is why people tend to wind up with nic-names . their given name may not fit them or their personality.
Reply:because you can't just have a houseful of kids called "OI! You!" "Shuddup" "Stoppit" and "No!"
Reply:Well, I'll tell you. In 17th and 18th century Paris, France, they didn't name babies until they were 7 years old. This is because most babies died. I guess they didn't want to waste names.
Reply:it makes it easier for you to fill out paperwork.
otherwise everyone will refer to your child as N/A
:)
Reply:They get their own names so they get to go home with their own parents.
Reply:What, I have no idea what you are asking.
Reply:To identify your child?
Reply:because the earlier the better . if u start calling the baby "baby" instead of a name . when u call a baby , u expect them to look at u . so if the baby is use to u calling the baby with that name "baby" , he will get confuse if u call him another name .if u give him a name at a later age like 3 or 4 . he might not respond to the name u gave him or her.
Reply:this is the second time you asked this question, "booobi".
Reply:You can't get a social security card without a name....can u think of a better time to name a baby?
