So far, yes. We agreed on names way before we got pregnant. We weren't even trying, but ended up pregnant. I'm seven months along, and we haven't really discussed any other names. I've been tossing around Gideon, because I've been getting a serious Gideon vibe from the baby, but my husband hates the name, and keeps reminding me I agreed on James Kenneth years ago. Oh well!
Reply:No my names changed every few years since I was like 14. And I didn't think of my son's name until I was pregnant with him. His name is Oliver. I really liked the name Savannah and have loved it for years now but I had a miscarriage which, if it was a girl, I had planned on using the name. Now I feel weird using that name since it was planned for someone else. So I don't even think I'll stick to that one.

Also, I have always loved the names Jonathan and Ryan but then I ended up having a very long crazy relationship with a Jonathan and a stupid mistake relationship with a Ryan so both of those names are out.
Reply:No, my sister-n-law actually used the name Madison (which I loved since hubby and I were married) and she also used the name Riley which I said I wanted to use if I had a second son. She named her daughter Madison Riley while I was pregnant with my second child... I had a baby boy 5 months after she gave birth and named him Riley James. I decided she could be rude, but I was still using the name I loved :) My first son's name is Brody William, he is named after his daddy with the same middle name and a simular first name :)
Reply:Every name I came up with when I was younger went straight out the door. My husband didn't like the name Michelle because he dated a girl with that name and she was CRAZY. I didn't like the name Marcus because I dated a nut with that name. See what I mean? When you have two opinions it sort of disrupts everything you originally planned. Plus that mothers instinct kicks in and you realize that this baby in your womb has a personality already. I wanted a name that suited my unborn child. We agreed on a name and when she was born it was perfect. Ancient people took the naming of a child really seriously. I think we're all gettiing back to that way of thinking.
Reply:No, because my partner wasn't that keen on them! If I'd been on my own I think I'd have kept them. I had names planned out many years before even wanting to have a baby, though they changed over time a bit (not much though). And we planned the names of our child when I was pregnant, but as soon as she was born, changed them again because it somehow didn't suit her!
Reply:Yes, when trying to have a baby my husband and I had picked out Natalie and Gabriella for girls and Coy for a boy. Never happened. We threw those names out the second we started looking at name books! LOL!
Reply:No. I always planned girls names and both of my babies turned out to be boys. I am pregnant again and am hesitant on a girls name now though I still like my choices. I haven't even begun thinking of boys names.
Reply:I would keep the name I wanted for my babies... the only time I would change the name on the spot, is if really in my heart.. he/she really didn't look like the name. I couldn't just couldn't stick with it.
Reply:Yes, the only difference was I always wanted Gracelyn Mae and my husband %26amp; I compromised on on Gracelyn Rae. We call her Gracie. I can't remember not wanting to name a little girl Gracelyn, I think I probably picked it when I was 9 or 10.
Reply:Yes, I always loved the name Kai and stuck with that..

but when i was younger, i loved the name Chloe - but wouldn't use it now. Still a cute name, but know at least 10 little girls called Chloe..xx
Reply:Yes, my husband and I picked out our daughter's name before she was even a sparkle in his eyes. It was a name we both loved and reflected our common ancestry.
Reply:yeah i do......
Reply:Yes I picked my daughters first name when I was 12 %26amp; stuck with it.
